HOSTING MOD
MOD would love to come to you to bring high level training. All we need is a host to coordinate the range and basic range supplies (target stands and sticks). Targets will be mailed before the class. For a 2 day class we will need a minimum of 6 students and for a one day class we will need a minimum of 8. The maximum amount of students will be 18. Once the date has been cleared with MOD and the range, we will help sell the class on the MOD website. You as the host will receive a free spot in the class and you will be encouraged to spread the word to your local shooters. That's it! Email us training@myowndefender.com
MOD Pistol Dominance - 2 Day
Pistol Dominance will have you pushing your boundaries of speed and accuracy. Moving away from the noise in the training space about the tactical vs the competitive shooter, this course is structured to help shooters run their guns with greater efficiency and consistency. MOD 2-Day AIWB/Pistol Dominance
Day 1 of this class is set up to demystify AIWB carry misconceptions and improve shooter performance. Whether you're a red dot shooter, or an irons shooter we will increase your performance out of your AIWB! Not only your first shot, but also your follow up shots are dependent on how well you build your grip. We will get you to build a perfect grip from count 1 of the draw resulting in significanlty quicker draws to first shot and also follow up shots.

You've been shooting for some time and you've finally realized that being able to draw, shoot, reload, make decisions, etc. on the move is the ultimate test of shooting skills. Static drills are a place where we develop foundational skills. However, seasoned shooters know that being able to perform on the move takes your skills to the next level.

MOD Skill Builder
The MOD Skill Builder classes are intended for those who have already begun the process of accumulating the skills and equipment necessary to protect themselves and their family, and are looking to add the missing piece of hands-on training. This is your chance to come check in and get professional feedback on your progress. This course includes dry practice, static live shooting, and dynamic live shooting (on the move). Your gun handling skills will improve significantly each time you attend.
The Skill Builder classes are not sequential, you will be joining other protectors on their journey to be better able to defend themselves and the ones they love. This safety conscious, time efficient live fire training will supplement your personal journey in becoming YOUR OWN DEFENDER. Each time we meet, we focus a brief time on reviewing the essentials, and then adding to your repertoire by training with new drills. Those who come regularly to train find not only new knowledge and skills, but also camaraderie with good likeminded citizens, and a community of friends devoted to constant progress.

MOD Young Guns
You have kids and you want them to understand how guns work. You want them to get a good grasp of safety and develop a foundation of gun mechanics so they can safely learn how to shoot.
I want the same for me very own kids. I've developed this class with those thoughts in mind. We will take our time to discuss the very important safety topics, foundational mechanics of shooting a pistol, and we will dimistify misconceptions that keep people fearful of guns.
Each kid will have one parent in the class participating alongside them. We will only take 10 children ages 9 and up alongside their parents. If you have multiple children, register each child individually and please bring an adult for each.
You must have a pistol and ammo to along with it. This will be a low round count class (100 rounds).
